PoF splitters can be used to power kvm- tec fiber extenders via PoE over an additional CAT cable.
While the data is provided via fiber, the extender receives the power supply via an Ethernet cable, which is connected to a PoE switch. At the extender the power supply is converted to DC 12V by a PoE splitter and connected to the extender.
