with uncompressed redundant transmission the second port immediately
takes over the transmission. Therefore NO BLACK SCREEN !

something is wrong - immediate notification
Since there is almost no noticeable difference between compressed and uncompressed with kvm-tec, the link failure could also be easily overlooked - therefore instant notification

Hot hot - it gets too hot
If the ambient temperature becomes too hot for the kvm-tec Extender, which has passive cooling, it will sound an alarm and immediately notify that the temperature in the environment is too high and needs to be remedied.

Never powerless  - failure of a power supply  
Not good! But also here the extender immediately sounds an alarm and notifies that the power supply has failed.

Who changed what here? - Failure or unplugging of an Extender
If one of the endpoints in a system fails or is disconnected, then the Switching Manager raises an alarm and sends a notification.

The Extender is a Teamplayer – DDC-CI

DDC -CI (Displaydatachannel - Command Interface) the PC can request the monitor via the Extender whether it is switched on or off, monitor type and serial number, request and adjust brightness, change volume.
